A dojo is a place of Work and a place of training.

You might be familiar with the stereotypical dojo -- an abandoned store in a mini-mall converted with a few gallons of white paint and mats thrown about the floor along with the ever present martial arts posters for decore.

A digital dojo is perhaps a bit similiar -- typically created in an abandoned cyber technology converted with a few pixels and coding.

We've converted chat programs, gaming shootem ups and even cyber shopping malls into digitial dojos.

Palace, Quake, TeamFortress, GChat, EBay, and cyber- squatting have all served as a place of Work and a place of training.

Because a digital-dojo is a place of Work the training is not of the sit around waiting to be told type. Rather the training is more of the "learn on the job" sort. We like it that way.

Admittedly, the wide variety of Digital-Dojo activities can be confusing to the novice. Not to worry. As your eyes adjust to the scenery and you become aclimated through involvement the phantasmagora will give way and the confusion will disolve giving way to vision and understanding.

Gorebag's Tutorial

Gorebag's Tutorial is the ideal introduction to any game made using the G.O.D.D. Engine. After Gorebag's Tutorial you'll be running, jumping, shooting, flying and crouching with the best of 'em.

Keyboard Layout

This keyboard layout program was produced using Macromedia Director. It will show you many of the various significances of keys in the G.O.D.D. Game. This layout is in development so there may be some minor variance between the keyboard program and the actual keys.

Dream Lucid

While we all think we know what Lucid Dreaming is, few have the depth of background required to put together such a truly empowering course as EJ Gold's Lucid Dreaming. This orb is just one of the beginning steps in what some have called the most effective course on Lucid Dreaming available. You will notice a refreshing lack of lecture and an empowering wealth of exercises.

GChat

GChat is a small chat program used for many of the online classes and teaching sessions. Even when using other programs we return to GChat as a common meeting place from time to time.

Welcome to M.A.M.A.'s World Museum. We hope you enjoy your visit. Tour the many fine exhibits. They are free and open to the public. If you have any questions bump into a guide or point at it and press left mouse button or "control" on keyboard. You can repeat as necessary.

Paparazi

We released this game as a form of social commentary. Because of the times there were in excess of 1 million downloads during that first month. There continues to be thousands of downloads a week. What this means we can't say for sure. We do hope that some folks appreciate the point we were trying to make. The reason for this new release is simple. We had to recompile the program to work under DirectX 7. Microsoft doesn't really maintain backwards compatibility all that well.

Temples

Some ArtSpaces are meant to be enjoyed as a group. Temples is such an ArtSpace. Although many folks have expressed delight in traveling the various temples space alone, the added dimensions of Temples aren't available until one has the pleasure of experiencing it as a group. Try it and see what the artists mean. You can repeat as necessary.

Zenn

Zenn if a collaboration between multi-media artist's EJ Gold and Claude Needham. This art form makes use of color, texture, space, form, movement sound and music. To our knowledge this 1994 virtual canvas is one of the first if not the first examples of 3D Virtual Art. We have recompiled the original 1994 example to run on more recent computers. To preserve the integrity of the orginal piece we have made only those changes required to allow the art piece to compile for exhibit.

Talk of the Month

The Talk of the Month is a publication which had its origins in the Meadow Vista era of IDHHB, Inc. (1980-82). Archival or facsimile issues are now being offered as private publications by Gateways Books & Tapes to readers interested in profoundly practical transformational work. The idea for the publication came during a series of discussions in which a number of the people involved in preparing IDHHB/Gateways books addressed the concern that E.J. Gold was presenting a wealth of information in nightly or--in some instances--day- long talks. Only a small fraction of this information travelled beyond the Institute facilities and members. Although some of the material would ultimately be collected and edited, worked over, refined, read out loud, discussed, put into practice, evaluated, and then typeset and released in limited editions and trade paperbacks (see Gateways main list, esp. The Human Biological Machine... and Life in the Labyrinth)--those steps might take years! Also, many talks addressed highly esoteric subjects or themes that did not fit into any book.

Sekrit 8Ball

This program is intended for use with Bardotown Safari. We would like to hope this may be of some small measure of help. However, we warrant nothing. Does the phrase "Carpe Diem" ring a bell? How about Quasimoto,..or perhaps Pavlov?

Apperception

What is this Apperception.exe program? Pure and simple this program is part of an ESP training program. In case you didn't know it ESP is a misnomer. These senses are not "E"xtra. More to the point these senses are neglected. If you don't use it you lose it. It comes as no surprise that an individual who doesn't do even a single pushup has low upper body strength. The obvious correction for low upper body strength is to do upper body exercises. The obvious correction of a Neglected Sense is exercise of the neglected sense. There are countless info-mercial detailing a zillion programs for building upper body, abs, butt of steel, etc. Think of Apperception.exe as the Nautilus of ESP.

Attentiasizer

This attention nautilus is simply the best device for training the essence attention. Don't believe that's possible? Try it for 60 days and then you tell us.

Deja Maze

This game is the equivalent of a doodle pad for maze lovers. Solve randomly created mazes or create your own. Make a particularily difficult maze and save it to challenge a buddy.

jpgBatch

Yep, it's a jpgCompression program. We are aware there are other programs. This particular utility is useful to us for batch processing of jpg images.

Kapr

Kap-R is screen capture utility. That's all it does. It captures the visual content of the screen and saves it to disk. There are probably a million other screen capture utilities out there. Maybe a zillion. Unfortunately, the other zillion or two screen capture programs could meet our specific needs. It's not that we are so extraordinarily picky. We just didn't want to charge up a large graphics program and we didn't like the idea of having to save the files to disk as a separate activity after they were captured. Kap-R does what we want -- and no more. This need for a screen capture utility sprang from the volunteer work we do for the Newbie dot Org website at http://www.newbie.org As part of the website development we found ourselves capturing many screen shots to make mini- movies for tutorials. This utility makes that easier.

NoTwoTwo

Most of us raised in the North Western Hemisphere have been deprived of a rhymically diverse up bringing. We have survived on a diet of 4/4 and perhaps a little 3/4. Unfortunately we were served up this bland diet during our critical early years when our brains were most able to create electrical connections. A little early exposure could have gone along way toward the abilty to process poly- rhythmic structures. In case you aren't aware of it the ability to work with poly-rhythms and the ability to use both hemispheres of the body for drumming are important components to whole-body awareness.

OmMaNiPadMeHum

Improve Your Karma/Help the Dharma... What is this OmMaNiPadMeHum.exe program, anyway? Tradition tells us we can pray for the liberation of all beings everywhere through the focused spinning of cylinders, chanting, and other intentional forms of prayer. OmMaNiPadMeHum is one such prayer. Several sources in the esoteric community including His Holiness the Dali Lama, have verified that prayers etched onto a computer's harddrive convert these rapidly spinning wonders of technology into prayer wheels. This affords those of us living during this time period an opportunity unique in history. We can transform our computers into prayer wheels spinning more than 7000 times a minute, a half million times an hour and over 10 million times a day. That's a lot of spinning and a lot of prayers. Safari DeKoder Ring

The Safari Sekrit DeKoder Ring is a small collection of utilities and toys to be used during Bardo Safari. What is Bardo Safari? Rather than answer a question best left for self-discovery let us answer a slightly different question. On Bardo Safari a group of individuals from around the world join in a cyber-dojo. These individuals are bound as a group compelled to work as a group as they progress through the Safari. Do you hunt elephants on this Safari? Apart from a rather lame reference to the story of the blind men and the elephant, no. We use the name Safari not because we are hunting animals. Rather because there is a lot of trekking and the welfare of the group is dependent on how well the group of individuals work as a cohesive whole. Bardo Safari is available by invitation only. --------DirectX (Microsoft)

DirectX is a set of helper programs used by almost all video games. They are are certainly required for any of the aforementioned G.O.D.D. Games. If you don't have DirectX you will need it for any of the G.O.D.D. Games to work. Included on this CD are a couple of tools to determine your existing installation and the dxsetup file to install DirectX.

DirectX Diagnostic

DirectX Diagnostic Tools is a rather complete (a.k.a. complicated) system tool for checking out your DirectX.

DirectX Info

This will look to see which DirectX files you have currently. This is best used under direction from tech support.

DirectX Installation

This will install the DirectX system onto your computer.
