INCREDIBLE FIND!

Been in the dollhouse accessory business a lot of years-- since 1964, in fact, and have never found anything like this beautiful hand-turned metal miniature chess-set and period chesstable (the top is also a chessboard, under the magnetic board you see in the photo...)

Look really closely at the detail work in the turned-metal pieces & you will be amazed & astounded at the work in it. This is a terrific bargain at double the price! You will not be disappointed; this is totally gorgeous and impressive as can be.

Makes a perfect addition to any Queen Anne, Morris, Chesterfield or even Biedermeyer, if you've got it (I do get in Biedies once in a while and you can get on my mailing list to be notified when they come in).

This is such a hot item I cannot guarantee that I will have them in stock ...they go as fast as I put them up, and are very very hard to get, so the demand is much greater than the supply, I'm afraid....

Sigh...that's always the way with the best items, and they always go out of production just when you discover them....!

As I say, if you plan on ever getting this item, this is the time. Reason I'm saying this is that I don't want the same boo-hooing I got when the hand-loomed miniature persian carpets ran out and the company quit producing them.

Same is happening with my Pennsylvania Dutch & my harps...they're going out of manufacture, and nobody else is making them. Sigh. Enough said. Good luck Bidding...judging from the last auction, you'll need it, hehe. Oh, the Dome is not included in this auction...but it is cute in there, isn't it.
