I'M OUT OF THE Z-SCALE BUSINESS, concentrating on HO & N
Scale only at this time, so my loss is your gain! I've
been mounting my own rheostat, switch & battery case
plus point receptacles in these; didn't care for the
stuff they sell you with the layout. Finished off as
a coffee-table layout, these typically brought as much
as $2400 a pop (with Noch buildings, lights, detailed
to smithereens, of course).
Okay, so here's the deal: these are finished off with
Noch grass, water, etc., all landscaping is in; roads,
railbed, etc. so there's nothing for you to do but
add some Marklin track, controller, switch, battery
case, and wiring for the houses, of course...hole
indicators are provided on the bottom of the form.
It's a vacuum-formed thingy, I think...made of hard
foam, light as a feather. Great for suitcase layouts...
Well, the price is sure right. I paid a fortune in
shipping from Germany for these, plus I waited eight
months until they finally arrived, much too late
for Christmas, of course!
Don't wait to get caught short for your Holiday z-scale
sales...this is a great dealer's opportunity to pick up
these things without international shipping and the
delays plus all that time in Customs...whew! What pain
I went through for these! I'm glad someone isn't paying
the price I paid both in time wasted and terrible
international currency values at the time...Get them
outta my face before I weep again...! :) Just kidding;
I've learned to take losses and get back in with the
next thing, and that's exactly what I'm doing with my
great HO and N scale models and trains!
If you want this finished out, we can make arrangements,
but it'll be a couple of months until I finish my current
film script assignments (just dialogue, nothing fancy).
Okay, gosh, I better get going...gotta get the next thing
up on eBay before I lose my connection again. Yes, my
ISP sucks just like yours does, and I'd get another one,
but these guys are friends, and at least I know for sure
that my connection is through a dinky little modem in
their garage...
