In the upper left corner of the program screen is the button to switch Kap-R on. Prior to starting up Kap-R you may select any of the following options:
- Modify F11 key to require a second key for activation.
- Select target directory for storage of files.
- Select the name root for the image files. ('test', 'browser', 'fred', ...)
- Select color depth of images. (8bit = Indexed, 24bit = RGB)
Notice in the lower right-hand corner of the program, you'll find a free space indicator. This is in megabytes. If you try saving screen files with too little free space bad things will happen.
