FAQ
Why does the green bar indicator keep going up and down?
You get a green point for each image cluster you get right.
After you get a certain number of image clusters right you progress to the next level.
When you process to the next level you start back at no clusters correct for that level.
What is the deal with the red bar?
You get a red point for each image cluster you get wrong.
If you get a cluster right then the red points are set to zero.
When you go up a level the red points are set to zero.
If you get a certain number of red points in a row you are sent back to a previous level.
Why does the number of images in the cluster change?
After you get a certain number of image clusters right you progress to the next level.
Each level has more images. You will start with three images per cluster and progess to four then five then six then seven then... you get the idea?
If you get a certain number of image clusters wrong (all one after the other) right you are sent back a level.
When you are sent back a level there are fewer images per cluster.
The idea is to go back to a level where you were having a better time getting it right.
Why does it seem like the same images keep coming up over and over?
This is only an illusion. We started out using a random number generator to randomly select images. But then during testing it seemed to us that certain images where coming up over and over. We checked the random number generator. Out of one million selections the random numbers were almost exact. But since it really seemed like certain images came up way more than they should we put in a balancing matrix. Now if an image is being selected more than another it is disallowed until the other images are used and equal amount. Thing is, even with this balancing matrix there are certain images that seem to definitely come up more than others. Must be some kind of Twilight Zone thing.
What happens if I get really good at this?
Ask us that question after you get really good at this.
Do you accept actually large donations?
Some questions are best addressed through personal experience personally experienced. If you want to determine for yourself whether or not we accept large donations send us one.
What would you guys do with a donation if one were sent?
Well, we'd probably give it to our favorite project OmMaNiPadMeHum.com
In fact, we'd probably just pass the donation right through so that technically you'd be giving them the donation. So why not cut our the middle-person and do it yourself?
What's with the stupid questions in this FAQ?
That's the problem with generating a FAQ that includes questions sent in by telepathy. Ya gets all kind of weird questions. They just keep floating in. And no I haven't seen your other shoe and I can't help you talk to your departed Uncle Fred.
