Holidays are an excellent time to indulge in the examine one's aims and goals, achievements and plans", said Robbert Trice, Institute president and one who firmly believes in setting goals and holding to them. "That's why we decided to use the Holidays to focus on the American Book of the Dead in a particular way." It was Gateways' editor, Linda Corriveau, who came up with the idea of the GIVE AN ABD FOR XMAS CAMPAIGN.

The whole point is to spread the ABD to as many people as possible and one unique way of reaching more individuals is to encourage all those who already own and benefit from the ABD and are familiar with how to use it, when to use it and so on, to share that inestimable treasure they hold in their hands with others who also have a profound need.

"Just think how poorer you're life would be if you didn't have an ABD to turn to when you do. I don't know what I would have done without it for my sister and my father who recently passed away," said Linda Corriveau. "If every person who had received the blessings of readings could share that with a circle around them, we'd have a lot of happy people." One of the long-term goals of Gateways, the publishing arm of the Institute, is to have the ABD a common name in American homes.
